It's my birthday today, and I am now seventeen. Yay! I still have a hard time believing that I'm actually seventeen, and that next year I'll technically be an adult. It's strange how fast everything can go, isn't it? Every year, time seems to pass more quickly. But, for the most part, I've enjoyed life so far; I'm not too worried about it :). Oh yeah, and I finally started writing something. Surprisingly, this story seems to be going somewhere. Maybe I'll put some of it on here.... Well, I'm feeling unusually energetic (birthday energy, I suppose), so I'm going to go now before I make this ramble on and it stops making sense. :)

So I haven't gotten any further on my story, and I don't particularly care for what I have so far. As much as I like the idea of writing fiction, maybe it's not for me. I'm not going to give up on it completely, but it doesn't seem to be working out so well at the moment. My brother says I should write articles and stuff for this site he found out about recently. (He's a writer.) I'm thinking about doing it. I wish I had a little more confidence in my abilities, because that lack of confidence might hinder me from doing this. I think I'll take a look at the site and go from there. Again, I'm not sure what I would write about, but maybe I'll h

I did it. I finally started writing. So far, I only have a very small amount written, and I'm not sure if it's going to go much further or not. I'm sort of making it up as I go along. Hopefully it will amount to something more than a couple of paragraphs, but even if it doesn't, at least it's something. Who knows? Maybe I'll get a full story out of it. I guess I'll have to wait and see where it takes me.
